Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are eyeing a move for Reading striker Simon Church.Championship trio Ipswich Town, Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town are all thought to be keen on signing the Wales international.
The three clubs are all thought to have made an enquiry to Reading about signing Church on a season-long loan deal.
Church struggled to hold down a regular place in the Reading team last season and the summer arrival of Pavel Pogrebnyak could see Church pushed further down the pecking order.
The highly-rated forward could be tempted to leave Reading this summer in search of regular first-team football and Reading could consider loaning him out so that he can get some action under his belt.
The 23-year-old, who made 19 starts in the Championship last season, netted seven goals last term to help Reading win promotion to the Premier League.

Always liked Simon Church but with the similar players we already have (Mason, Etien) think it would be a no go.

Church set for Terriers
Reading, 22:47, August 23, 2012
Huddersfield look to have won the race to sign Reading striker Simon Church on a season-long loan deal.
Church has been attracting plenty of interest from clubs in the Championship but reports claim the Terriers have pipped Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest to his services.
The 23-year-old is expected to struggle for a regular place in the Royals side following their return to the Premier League and Brian McDermott believes a spell away on loan will be best all round.
Church bagged seven goals last season as the Royals won promotion and Huddersfield will be hoping the Wales international can have a similar impact for them in the forthcoming season.
If a deal does go through, Church is likely to partner Reading target Jordan Rhodes in the Huddersfield attack.

I don't see a place for him tbh, not even on the bench
