How do you know if a post is made a sticky?

A lot of people are moaning about posts being made stickys but i cant tell what ones they are, are the the ones with the lightbulb type shape on the left of the post?

Correct, the lightbulb as you call them mean the post is stickied (stuck to the top of the board whilst other posts move down until someone replies to it)
