To be fair he's not the sort of player who will take us into the Premiership. Great fella but past his best which wasn't that great anyway. Make him a coach or something.

Was sad, but we have an abundance of players fighting for a midfield matchday squad place, can't see him making too many tbh

If you have any ounce of knowledge of football you can see Mcphails a class act! People who say "hes past it" havn't got a clue! If you were at the game yesturday for the 5 minutes he was on the pitch he was controlling the midfield. Even if he only plays 10 games next year hes one hell of an option to have when hes fit

Yes he has a nice pass on occasions but apart from that he is too slow,too one sided and cant tackle.
