They were winning before we were down to 10 men and from the reports I've read it was hoof ball rubbish and fairly beaten.

And when you say 4 big players out, you have to remember we were playing against forest green. Any of our replacement should be way better than that level.

Since January (the majority of Malkys reign) we have shown the form of a 17 th placed club... Which continued today with defeat agains forest green.

Or do I bury my head n the sand and say we didn't try to win anyway

Odd theory. Although had another pm of support from Annis this morning.

You can't judge a team based on one game. As you said you only read reports on the game and weren't there, wait till the fans who did go are back and see what they thought of it. A fair few youngsters and 2 new signings played, and they obviously haven't played with our other players before so they need time to gel. If we were to win all of our other friendlies easily (including beating Newcastle) are you still going to be this negative?

1st pre season games means nothing just a warmup players getting used to each other if u look along it like a full match your a dick as for roath magic

It's a pre-season friendly. When I was playing it was all about getting match fit and not giving a shit about the result, unless we were playing Caerau Maesteg, Merthyr or Butetown - then friendly was the wrong term

agree mate but this was a patched up team of two half mixed with kids and our first preseason game of the season, i say wait untill the newcastle game to see where we are and could be judged on that im sure by then we will have a few new and old players returning to help out the team

I disagree, if that was the case they would take them running or to a fitness camp. We needed to see a semblance of a performance today and a positive result inspires confidence,me saw neither.
