Not everyone in Malaysia supports Arsenal.
Not everyone in Malaysia supports Man Utd.
Not everyone in Malaysia supports Chelsea.

Some fans support teams just to be different from the norm and gain attention. There will be plenty of people all over Asia who will latch on to our fan base just like our ever growing New York fan club.

Pretty much the dumbest argument I've heard. Shame you cant construct a decent well balanced argument like swansealad.

We can't compete in Malaysia. It's just Tan trying to justify vandalising our club. He probably does not even know what league we are in.

Says who? Some self proclaimed know it all from the 'diff? Take a step back. Provide me some evidence that you have knowledge of business ethics and protocol in Asia and ill start to take you seriously.

People have all sorts of reasons to support a club. We will have won fans from our passionate display at Wembley. To say every fan in Asia supports teams because of success is stupid. How is that really any different from the UK? Cardiff is full of top 4 supporting fans + Liverpool fans so. The only reason it looks like every fan in Asia are glory supporters is because of the media. I've been to China, seen people in shirts of other clubs like West Ham, Reading, Newcastle etc etc. but because those clubs never tour there, there is no coming together of all the fans on arrival in the country and nothing to write home about.

Take a look who goes on tour frequently to Asia and you'll realise thats why its amplified around the world. It does not mean that everyone in those countries are glory supporters. Simple minded view from Brits in a cotton wool wrapped world.

Possibly the most absurd post yet on the subject. Well done.
