JACK FANS SIGNED LETTER TO VT

Fri Jul 20, 2012 8:51 pm

Jack fans among fans from other clubs signed the letter to VT, now was that done as fans united, or rivals hoping we mess up the best chance we have ever had to get stable and make progress?

Likely to be the former. There have been articles on this forum and the media from fellow football supporters opposing the clubs rebranding. A united front to throwing away history, tradition and identity.

Yeh, as long as it ain't their club that suffers, it's easy to make a stand when it don't affect you.

Apparently it's easy to not make a stand when it does affect you as well.

and it's also a fact that jack fans voted for the rebrand in the poll so don't be selective with your facts

Surely Jack fans would WANT the re-brand to go ahead? Fair play to those of them who signed the letter :ayatollah:

The majority are making a stand and giving up something that means a lot to us as a cost of a massive investment that hinged on the sacrifice, well done the real fans, a colour is temporary, a club should be for life. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Its possible ore likely that they do not want their clubs history thrown away either. They are showing their support as to whats gone on.

I have at least 500 Customers Swansea based many are Jacks and we get on well. I can assure every one of you that the last thing they want is for us to have stability and huge investment. In short they dread the day Tan gets his wishes. his club in the Premier division with his wealth to boot. Believe me we talk about it daily and what colour we play means sod all to them.

because they want to be the only premier league team for as long possible. they know if we join them there, we will smash them in terms of support, red or blue.

And you don't think they worry that if we get the right backing, we will leave them in our wake,Huge club, with huge fan base and huge financial support, Ok perhaps they don't see it that way.   oh, and before I forget, the Capital City. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

All Gwyn does is do posts trying to get a reaction. I know I am posting in a thread started by Gwyn here, but personally I am getting fed up with seeing Gwyn's pro rebrand drivel constantly at the top of this forum trying to goad reactions. I've replied to two of Gwyn's posts previously and he hasn't responded, so I realise not to bother wasting my time. I realise Gwyn doesn't debate, he starts a topic and then sits back and watches the pro reds and pro blues rip each other apart in the thread he's created. It's childish and pathetic and the best thing to do is to ignore his posts altogether and let them sink to the bottom of the page without trace.

gwyn most jacks i know aren't bothered that we are a bigger club than they are they admit it, and are comfortable with the size of their club, they just want to be better than us in the league which they are it pains me to say, they are in the prem and they didn't sell out to try and get there , an uncomfortable truth, fact

Admire your stand and principles, and if you are so successful that you drive the Malaysians away, will you feel you have achieved your aims if we get to play in blue again, but possibly in the Welsh League, do you think you principled people will be loved and thanked by the masses for your efforts? or disliked for destroying the club over the sake of a colour shirt.
Only time will tell.
