Sorry to hear that. I was made redundant in mid December 2011, after 19 years at the same place. Hoping to start a new job in the next 2 weeks or so. Hopefully, it won't take you as long to get a new job.

The advice I always give job seekers is to play the numbers game and apply for as many jobs as possible. Also try tailoring your CV to what the ad is asking for

Thanks for the replies. Nice to see some genuine replies instead of some sarky comments I know im not the only person in this position at the moment, good to see city fans looking our for each other whether blue or red
