I don't think Gerrard's Twitter rant is about not playing...

There was a post on here about him celebrating with Liverpool after the Carling Cup final (which in my opinion has just started somewhere as a malicious rumour and isnt true, not necessarily the person who posted the thread) and i bet he's been getting alot of shit about it on Twitter recently, and that's what i think his rant his about.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not a fan of him as a player and i thnk that footballers have to expect that they're gonna get a bit of abuse every now and then if they are on Twitter, but i could also understand why he'd get wound up by this if it is the reason. It was so obvious that he was devastated after his penalty miss.

I still hope he leaves this summer because he's not good enough for a promotion challenging Championship side, but i'd say just leave off him on this issue really, just like any person some things will wind him up and he's allowed to get angry every now and then.

I actually think he's probably a decent bloke
