Anyone knowledgeable about bikes?

I've been given a Mongoose mountain bike that's a few years old, needs new tyres (has road tyres fitted) and a rear derailleur but apart from that it looks in good condition.
What kind of price am I looking at to fix it, roughly?
Any help much appreciated

You be better off sending Tony TopCat a PM mate, as he's years of experience riding old bikes

Wes is more into the tour de france at the mo anyway Marc, thats what he was telling us on saturday, he said he spends hours in front of the t.v watching those blokes in shorts

Go to a cycle shop for you derailleur, can be a bugger to set up correctly, and go online for tyres. Also replace the chain.
