King turns down Cardiff overtures

Cardiff have sounded out Marlon King but the striker prefers to stay at Birmingham.
The Bluebirds have already raided cash-strapped Brum for £3million starlet Jordan Mutch this summer.
Now Cardiff boss Malky Mackay also fancies bringing King, 32, to Wales from their Championship rivals.
Disappointed: Cardiff manager Malky Mackay

But the forward is settled with his young family near the Midlands and doesn't want to uproot.
King bagged 18 goals last season as Brum missed out on promotion in the play-offs.
He has since held talks with the club about his future and insisted he is happy to stay.
Possible replacement: James Vaughan of Norwich
Brum boss Lee Clark has held discussions with Norwich about taking James Vaughan on loan as a possible replacement if King or Nikola Zigic leave.

I'm finding it difficult to support us next season as it is with everything that's gone on, but if we did sign that woman beater, it would have been the final straw for me.

True. It's a shame us Welsh working class have such low aspirations - plus two languages, neither of which we've grasped particularly well.
