this petition is well worth supporting...not sure if this has already been flagged up but there should not be an added tax on keeping fit...it affects children as well.

The government are suggesting that everyone who pays for a session of five a side football, including children are charged an addition cost or a value added tax...so if a session was £4.50p an extra 90p will be charged for VAT....or 20% of whatever the costs are. The petition is opposing these suggested new changes and tax on keeping fit.

I'd welcome a cut on tax if it encourages more people to get fit but it should be for everything including no VAT on gym membership. It would be completely unfair if you can have VAT on one type of way of getting fit but not on others.
