CHRIS GUNTER

Mon Jul 16, 2012 3:51 pm

Could be heading back to the Premier League with Reading.

Have never rated him myself (decent, but not brilliant), and to this day believe he would have become a better player if he stayed with City.

Good luck to him wherever he goes. A decent player and a CCFC fan and I've always wanted him to do well.

If this doesn't happen, would love to see him back at the city, I thought right back was a problem area for us last season. I have to admit my knowledge of Keogh is zilch, but saw quite bit of Gunter last 2 seasons and he has deffo improved, and Forest fans rate him. Good luck to him though if he does return to th prem, good news for our national team.

At the Gary Speed memorial match, he was by far the worst player on the pitch. I lost count how many times he got caught out of position, and the amount of times Darcy had to bail him out. Rubbish player, with a rubbish attitude towards us welsh clubs! :ayatollah:

Had real potential when he played for city but after the Tottenham move and not really impressing at Forest I can't see him making a lot of progress any time soon. Think he will be similar to quite a few players these days...good at championship level not quite good enough for premier league. Love to see him prove me wrong though

Think it was slightly less than that in the end, in either case we had a great deal. IMO he's nowhere near the same quality as McNaughton.

Shame there's so much bitterness towards him, he's a Cardiff lad and was a self confessed Bluebird. Shame one incident has blurred that!
