How many more times is Beckham..............................

going to bleet about not being in the GB squad, not being captain, how wonderful he was as an ambassador for the olympics and how wonderful he was for his country.

Most one trick ponies are sent to the knackers yard - he should count himself lucky american soccer is crap and he looks good!

Finally someone who agrees with me, he could've had a good career with Man Utd but of course his high profile with the stick clashed with Fergie. Get over it Becks

Why he thought he was in contention is madness, he retired from professional football 5 years ago.

Beckham has had a great career playing for R Madrid and Man U winning titles and the Champions League. With England he has played in WC & EC.

Giggs & Bellamy have had great club careers but have never played in a major tournament. It would be extremely selfish of Beckham to believe he should replace one of these two.

He should just get over it and stop acting like a spoilt brat.

He was probably answering a question politely. Furthermore, whoever was interviewing him probably asked the stupid question of "are you disappointed to have not been included in the Team GB squad."
