According to this he signed for Parma from Chelsea last summer (which is correct as he played against us), then went out to Roma on loan for a season not playing for Parma. Then this summer he signed for Roma permenantly, and now he's going to sign for Liverpool.
Is it even possible to transfer clubs 3 times in a year? I'm so confused...

Yes because he was part-owned by 2 clubs

You can play for a maximum of 3 clubs per season I thought.
