these banks and bankers are an absolute joke, Natwest has just fucked up a standing order for me to pay my monthly loan payment. They said I WILL BE CHARGED because it is human error!! Cheeky cunts!!

As of right now, i have cancelled my standing order to pay further repayments so the loan and natwest can go f**k themselves!!

i payed my monthly amount in to Natwest (as i do every month) and then somehow, they 'moved' a certain amount of my payment so as the loan repayment didnt get accepted, now im being charged endless sums of money for something i havent done!!

I'm not disagreeing with your outrage, but isn't it the case that they were quoting artificially low LIBOR rates? (if they were doing what the Bank of England / Whitehall were allegedly leaning on them to do)

If this is the case, lower rates will certainly not lead to people losing houses etc as interest is lower. If anything it helps.
The real effect is on those with savings / pension schemes.

When you fix libor you take 16 banks rates, drop thev4 highest and lowest then divide the 8 left to come up with an average so no way is there any impact on Jo Blow and his mortgage
