Carl any truth in the Keough to Bristol rumours.?

Bristol City are very interested in Keogh however they are relying on his previous links with the club to draw him in, a bit like we THINK our club are doing with Bellamy.

Keogh has previously played at Ashton Gate, he married a Bristolian while he was there and has many friends in the area. However he has to weigh up those benefits against potentially bigger wages and staying out of a relegation battle again (we hope).

Obviously Coventry will dictate who he speaks to by size of bid and BCFC will have to match any winning bid. Keogh could refuse a move to a bigger bidding club and force Coventry's hand in accepting a lesser bid.

He could play at CCS and still live in Bristol anyway

I reckon Ben Turner and Aron Gunnarrson could be a major factor for Keogh signing for us rather than Bristol. Especially being former team mates, he could follow them and join us.

Makes sense if Carlisle have a sell on fee, can't blame cov for wanting a bit more dough, but I don't think they can play hard ball if we are the only club that comes near the valuation and the player wants to leave...I believe we will get him.

Thank you for your reply Carl, but enlighten me if you wll, if we have not agreed a fee for him, how can we agree personnal terms with him, surely Coventry would not give us permission to talk to him.
