Cardiff City will not pay a fee for Craig Bellamy, we want him and he wants to come to us but City will not pay a fee for him, Craig has to sort out his contract at Liverpool if the move is to materialise.

QPR are also interested in Bellers and will look to make a move for him soon, Craig wants to be home with his family and his family of course want him back home, but London could be an attractive move as he can get to home to Cardiff in very little time from London.

What was reported in the media the other day that City will pay £2mill for Bellamy was total nonsense, due to his high wages and signing on fee being so high.

Bellamy is ready to leave Liverpool now, but he has to sort his contract out himself.

They may release him though. A new manager has come in and may want to release some wages for younger players. They may also release him if he drops a division only.

However I would expect him to go to QPR if they offer him two years.

Well surley Malkys has been given so called big money, what better way to spend just a little of it on bring in a top quality players who we all know gives 100% in every game, and wants the same as everyone and that to see Cardiff in the prem.

Its only 100% in the games he plays which is roughly hal a season. Im glad we are not paying a lot for him tbh. No doubt this will cause the stubborn fans to blame the malaysians even more then the next breath moan about the debt

As much as I would love to have Bellamy back I'm glad we are not going to pay a fee for him. Liverpool paid f**k all so why should we? We'd never get it back

I would not want us to pay a fee for Bellamy. At his age, with only a year left on a contract and at a club that will be bringing in players, he would need to be a free. Anything else would be a waste especially as we have to pay his wages.

£2million is equivalent to 20k a week for two years, that is an amount that could help fund his wages.

People moaning again and again, 2m for a 32 year old with injury problems is suicide if it doesn't pay off, Malky does have a massive warchest and he intends to spend all of it but spend it wisely, if Bellamy doesn't come home then so be it, we'll just find a young and cheaper fast pacey winger.

look this club needs to pay it if we have to bellers is the ultimate pro and this club CANT do the play offs again...we NEED automatic...simple as that ,id rather pay for him than some average player.

no hes just being sensible with his money, Tan cant win , we try and act sensibly and not spend ridiculous amounts of money on players and people will complain tans not backing malky ,if we spend big on a player and then ul complain about how hes putting us more into debt.

In realistic terms if we were in a healthy financial state i would still not want us to pay for him. If he was on 35 k a week which is minimum what i recon well get him on thts 1.8m a year on wages. Plus signing on fees , other ad ons etc. If we sign him hes going to cost enough just on those things let alone a 2m fee. I would at most pay 700k for him , last year contract, injury issues, his age etc. He doesnt hold much value, in realistic terms i can imagine tht liverpool may release him due to him wanting away and they can spend his wages on other players then, possibly only letting him go to someone out of the premiership .

If QPR are willing to pay a fee then we will have to match it or Liverpool will only let him talk to QPR. There is no reason why they wouldn't take the fee if they could get one.

Just his wages signing on fee agesnt fees etc will cost around 2 million for the year atleast . id love him here but why hedge all your bets on one person, if we payed a fee then in one year we would have spent around 5 million on one player . He wont garentee promotion , so we need to get him on the best deal possible.

im not bothered if he comes or not to be honest,i know the echo must take some of the blame for certain things they wrote about his stay last time,but considering it was only cardiff he would play for if he left liverpool i wouldnt be surprised if he did sign for qpr,to me who ever offers him the biggest wage packet is where he ll end up

We had a season of prima-donars two seasons ago with Bellamy being the catalyst. Apart from the winner against the jacks, did he fulfill his potential that season?

Personally, I'd rather see his £60k a week wage spent on 2 or 3 younger players who will give us strength in depth

You gotta consider his wages aswell and his resale value. His resale value will be next to nothing, and his wags would put off alot of clubs as well as his injury problems. There will be intrest with him but its not like all the premiership is after him.You got to look at it like this if we got any player on a free the club can then afford to put tht extra money witch we would put into wages etc. why do you think some players who are worse than bellamy go for 3-4 million, its because their wages are lower so the total cost of the transfer will be less.

Can't see it happening now tbh, would love it if he did come back though. But I am sure Qpr would pay a transfer fee and with the Mark Hughes connection I really can see him going there if Liverpool were to allow him to go.
