great news, that's how Tan is going to get us some reputation in Asia most probably but i thought TV deals were owned by the football league? someone care to explain the rules?

Yes apparently they are fitting a TV gantry above the Premier Seating. Don't see what is wrong with the current one though, looks plenty of room up there, even when the Sky/BBC cameras are there.

I would imagine VT will buy the rights to broadcast Championship games to Malaysia for a pitance. Once he has the rights he just shows CCFC games.

I'm guessing it won't cost much but I really don't see the point in the new gantry either.

I agree that it won't cost much but it me this is another issue which has cost money when there's actually no need too.

My seat is towards the front just right of the half-way line so hopefully I'll become a regular in Malaysian TV very soon

That would be a good call IMO.

they're going to probably fill all the advertising boards by ninian now with asian sponsors like 'Wok U Like' instead of 'Peters Pies' that's probably more money in anyway if you wanna look at it that way!

If so then I would rather them concerntrate on selling more premier seating rather than attempting to airbrush their lack of sales within that part of the business.

Maybe because they can't use the current one after the expansion (planning ahead)
