We ( Wales ) are under funded by more 500mil, and still they put in english to run Wales, I would like to know, would you come home with your wage packet ,give it to people next door and ask them to run your house affairs and bills ? or would you do the right thing and put the trust into your own family to handle things !!!

What about Welsh businesses then..? Not one leading group in the Assembly has helped Welsh businesses ever since the Assembly started!!! On Dragons Eye last night the it was clearly stated that the political ideology of the leading groups in the Welsh assembly is losing jobs and Welsh companies are even moving to Scotland as they got more of a chance in landing contracts!!!! With that kind of mentality no wonder Wales isn't doing as good as other home nations in the recession.

WE have never had full control of the Assembly, we have always had to take a side seat with the Labour party. Now they call them selfs the Welsh Labour party, But in fact they still do what Westminster tell them , and they have to jump to the Westminsters Tune.
This is Whey Plaid wants to do and run thing in the way it will suit the people of Wales. The so called Labour party has always been put in ,here in Wales. But the Labour party Let Wales down big time years ago. After the Aberfan disaster , the money that was sent to the people, was held only a very small amount was given to the people, Your so called Labour party made the people use the money to clean up and put things right. Also did they bring anyone to book for it ? NO !! NO they didnt ,to this very day not one man was brought to book for the killing of our Welsh children. Thats how much your english government take care of the people of Wales.

Socialist Plaid would kill Wales with their high tax policies, that would drive away any inward investment.

'The chairman of the National Coal Board (NCB) at the time of the disaster was Lord Robens of Woldingham. Robens had been a senior union official in the 1930s and then served as a Labour MP, briefly becoming Minister of Power in the dying days of the Attlee Labour government. His actions immediately after the Aberfan disaster and in the years that followed have been the subject of considerable criticism.

When word of the Aberfan disaster reached him, Robens did not immediately go to the scene; he instead went ahead with his investiture as Chancellor of the University of Surrey, and did not arrive at the village until the evening of the following day (Saturday). NCB officers covered up for Robens when contacted by the Secretary of State for Wales, Cledwyn Hughes, falsely claiming that Robens was personally directing relief work when in fact he was not present.

When he eventually reached Aberfan, Robens told a TV reporter that nothing could have been done to prevent the slide, attributing it to 'natural unknown springs' beneath the tip, a statement which the locals knew to be false – the NCB had in fact been tipping on top of springs that were clearly marked on maps of the neighbourhood, and where villagers had played as children.

Robens's actions in the period after the disaster further damaged his reputation – he refused to allow Coal Board funds to be used for the removal of the remaining tips above Aberfan, instead appropriating a substantial sum from the public disaster relief fund to pay for the work.'
