POEM FOR MY DAUGHTER

Thinking of you Gwyn. I haven't got a clue what to say but I am thinking of you big man.

what a lovely poem.. hang in there gwyn and family.

Wrote this in the middle of a massive downer this morning.

I planned to die before you, so i wouldn’t feel this pain,
a weight that’s just been hanging there on a heavy chain.

A parent’s biggest fear one that we all dread
To see your child who’s suffering and it should be you instead.

To watch and just feel helpless nothing we could do,
Begging, crying, praying to hope that you pull through.

Your suffering now is over, for us its’ just begun
Guilty feeling healthy, guilty having fun.

Will i ever smile again will i laugh no more
Will i find the courage to get up from the floor.

Need to think of others, to try and get them through,
But how to solve my own grief, I haven’t got a clue.

A very touching and beautiful poem Gwyn and one that Becky, RIP, would be very proud of. Hang in there big man. Myself being a father of 3 girls I can't imagine what you and your family are going through but remember that time is a great healer.

God Gwyn, never met you mate, but my heart goes out to you. As a dad of 4 I know exactly what your saying, keep strong mate but dont hold all that pain inside, let it out.
