POEM FOR MY DAUGHTER

Wrote this in the middle of a massive downer this morning.

I planned to die before you, so i wouldn’t feel this pain,
a weight that’s just been hanging there on a heavy chain.

A parent’s biggest fear one that we all dread
To see your child who’s suffering and it should be you instead.

To watch and just feel helpless nothing we could do,
Begging, crying, praying to hope that you pull through.

Your suffering now is over, for us its’ just begun
Guilty feeling healthy, guilty having fun.

Will i ever smile again will i laugh no more
Will i find the courage to get up from the floor.

Need to think of others, to try and get them through,
But how to solve my own grief, I haven’t got a clue.

what can i say, but very very emotional words

theres a saying,"to live in the hearts we leave behind is not to pass away ,it to live on an on"
there are no words,or anything to ease your pain gwyn
my heart goes out to you an your family,

Gwyn the pain of losing Becky will diminish with time. The love you had for each other will ALWAYS remain. Stay strong Big Man. Hope everyone's love sees you and yours through these dark days.

Beautiful words Gwyn my wife Diane passed away last year at the time I saw no future but that old cliche time heals does work you will never forget her but after time your thoughts of her will get you through. All my best wishes
