In the Bar in Majorca that I have covered in Cardiff tops and flag after flag, the owner rang me last night and I am only saying what he said 90% of the football fans have been laughing at Cardiff City at our new colours etc, but at the same time saying they felt for our fans and it was a disgrace.

I don't think anyone is happy with it mate. I have not met 1 person who is happy with or pro the change. I've met plenty of people who understand it needs to happen to survive/progress.

It shouldn't matter if people are laughing at us mate. People have been laughing at us for years in the low divisions, bottling the finals, financial trouble, sheep, welsh ect!! We have got used to it now. It only makes us stronger as a unit of fans!!

So don't we take the p!$$ out of other clubs when they get relegated, or lose matches like the Jacks lost in the League Cup last year etc?

We were down in the dungeon leagues for umpteen years, had the p!$$ taken out of us for ages over that, especially when the Jacks were in the old First Division under Toshack and now they're in the Premiership, we're having that all over again!

If our fans can't take other fans taking the p!$$ out of us, then we're going to be jiggered if we ever have to go to war again!

We're only a laughing stock amongst diehard supporters of clubs with no prospects and no money. The realist supporters amongst the other clubs realise that we have a good chance to move up and away and leave them behind.

This is different. That's why we have a split in the fanbase. Nobody was asking for a rebrand, but the speed with which some have, literally, changed colours is frightening. If we don't face up to the fact that we have problems, amongst ourselves, then the mood will just get worse. This is a new situation.

You're missing the point, nobody has said they want Red, nobody has changed colours, we're all Bluebirds, but the club is going to be red for next season at least, so we should give each other a bit more respect, try and affect the things which we can affect, like getting behind our team on the pitch!

I've already posted that the club have invited people aboard a committee to get involved in future discussions and proposals, so there's a way forward for you!
