Danny Murphy signs for Blackburn

He would have been an amazing signing for a season or two on a free, I would have made him my number one target. We should be targetting players of this quality, Murphy will make a huge difference for Blackburn at this level, he will do for Blackburn what Scholes did for Man Utd last season. Let's face it, with everything we have sacrificed, we should have had a good chance of getting Murphy on a free with this supposed investment. I feel we have really missed out here.

yes murphy is still a bottom half prem player im gobsmacked hes gone there would had made a great addition and has great experience for the younger players aswell

We could have had Murphy in the centre and shifted Whitts out to the left where he got all his goals that one season. Nevermind, I am happy with Mutch joining and I'm sure Malky has other signings lined up.
