Conversation with David Sullivan today

Thu Dec 10, 2009 12:35 pm

During the conversation I slipped in Cardiff City, his reply was that there was no way he could compete with Vincent Tan who he feels will certaintly take full control shortly.

The Malaysian tycoons he feels will be the ones who land Cardiff City prem football the fastest as they will have a massive population of Asia supporting him and Cardiff City.

Wonder if there are any City supporters clubs out there.

Re: Conversation with David Sullivan today

I do not think you will find there will be any more roller coaster rides for you , more like a space shuttle, straight up.

Re: Conversation with David Sullivan today

hope your right tnt, i've had enough of the rollercoaster rides i wouldn't have minded sullivan taking over mind at least you know what you'd be getting with sullivan, but he's made it plain it's the hammers he wants.

Let's not be naive, no matter who owns us we'll always be a rollercoaster ride! It's a curse the club is tainted with.

Apparantly he got the jitters there too due to Malay interest which has since wained hence the latest press revelations again regards his interest . He also wants to remain with David Gold who had n
no interest at all purchasing Cardiff City.

I am just sceptical of any good news relating to CCFC nowadays, Im also sceptical of any interest from Vncent Tan himself, has he said anything?

Alos I imagine Sullivans comments are born on the back of rumours and riddler press releases which we have all read and nothing concrete.

If its going to happen and I Def believe it will , it has to happen before Jan 6th 2010.

It's good to have an outside source confirm that the Malaysian billionaire is genuinely interested in investing. My theory has always been that Malaysian investment is nothing more than a ploy to get Langston to reduce their loan further, so that the current regime can merely achieve better terms for themselves! So to have someone within football but with no stake in the club come out and verify a very real interest from Vincent Tan is refreshing to hear.

Why Jan 6th? is that when the winding up order expires or when Langston can bring further legal proceedings against the club?

David's comments came from discussions with Malaysians themselves , a seperate tycoon who knows Vincent Tan well.

David only knew the basics as the rest of us regards the Langston current situation.

Although his belief is if Tan wants something he gets it no matter what and is quite certain Tan will get his way into the Cardiff boardroom.

Bull shit.

Do you trust people who like to hide their identity. I dont. They feel the need to hide behind something just incase the info the are spreading around is non-factual and liable to cause damage or unrest.

It's not hard to create threads to make yourself sound important. (I can show you if you like?)

How do we know it's not some jack b*stard taking the piss.....

P.S. - I find it hard to believe that an EX-Chairman of Bradford football club would be interested in posting on a NEW forum called ANNISABRAHAM.CO.UK ? and also to show any interest in a pretty recently dormant football club in the name of Cardiff City FC...

and, is that something that wasn't obvious....
It's easy for info from inside the club to be passed to the outside in the matter of hours...

Why is he hiding his identity? this, i dont understand. Does TNT think we'll think less of him if he tells us who he is?

TNT ? reply......

P.S. My names Craig, Im a Cardiff fan that lives in Llanedyern. (a pretty shitty suburb of Cardiff in all honesty, but hey, we all need a roof!) Im married, 31yrs of age, have 3 kids and drive a lorry for a living. I never found it hard to disclose any info there!

Very interesting.

You had serious doubts about Tan's involvement a week or so ago.

Are you convinced now ? Does Sulliavans word count for much ? He does have a tendancy to sound off.

Would Sullivan have been interested if it wasnt for the Malyasians ?

If the first 2 are yes's then the evidence is building up.
