iphone and icloud help

not very good with computers (it will take me ages to type this). I have an iphone 4s and when i upload photos onto my laptop windows messenger they are upside down and all sorts of wrong ways around, when you try to turn them it says wrong software or something like that,how do I solve this?
I have also tried changing my itunes details i.e address and card details but it will not let me, how do i do this?
How do you set up icloud and what programs/software do you need? I have googled this and followed instructions but when I enter apple login details it takes ages and nothing happens. You could probably tell by my termonology on these matters that I am a beginner when it comes to this sort of stuff but would appreciate any constructive help,I am sure I have seen other threads where someone on this forum is very good with this kind of stuff but cant remember username.
