*BLUE ARMY UPDATE*

Sorry it's late by an hour i was with the missues

Right, this has really been set into motion over the last few days, vast interest from all quarters and it’s still growing, this is all over twitter and other Cardiff city sites on facebook so I am sure interest will carry on growing.

Now the meeting, progress is great and we have the decision to call this meeting whenever we please and when it suits us, Me, CardiffCityHd and 12th man will be working closely with everyone interested to gain ideas and how to really push this on. Then will have to present this to Wayne Nash and Julian Jenkins this then will hopefully make the future more clear for the blue army.

Now that brings me on to names, a few have been doing the rounds on the message board but the ones that jump at me and still BLUE ARMY and Capital Blues there will be a poll next week with names and we can get a general jist on what’s popular and what isn’t. Logo should be done by tonight so this is all looking great and the facebook page should be complete by Friday so its all looking good on the promotion front.

Now on behalf of Me, CardiffCityHD and 12th man we can’t thank you enough for getting behind this idea and making it happen we truly are grateful, it’s something we take pride in doing and we want the best for the fans and the club and I think this is the way forward and its looking up.

Ill be posting on updates on goings on and I hope this gets sorted out very soon, this is only going to get bigger but we need the help of you.

Hopefully it does kick off into fruition, it may spread to Canton stand etc and prior to kick offs flags and banners being waved will become the norm. Blue Army fantastic we've had enough heartache with the rebranding at least this way your making a statement that for intents and purposes were still the Blue Army

thats the spitit fella, im getting my hands on a ginat flag the size of a double decker bus! the blue army logo should be on here TONIGHT

I just came back from Holland watching Willem II, they have a group called Tilburg Tifosi and they organise banners and flags etc, They pick say 4 games a season where they can plan and get some funds from fans and then put on a big show prior to kick off. Then each league game they say just surf a normal flag. The club even installed winches and hoists for them to put their banners into position and allow them in the ground early to put flags around. Most Dutch teams have something similair. Here is a link to them

thanks for that mate its something ill raise in the meeting maybe at big games such as, leeds, brizzle (derby), wolves and another team

The members aren't the ones who stand in the block, but the ones who do work off the stands such as organising displays, and sorting banners out.

You need a lot of dedicated members and not just ones who turn up to sing.
