Seems like they are on the way out of QPR, would be great additions to our squad in my opinion. :ayatollah:

Would take them both in a heartbeat. Would vastly improve our front line.

Maybe they will be the big name signings? With tommy smith possibly? We could have all of QPR's rejects. Isn't buszaky available on a free aswell. I'm sure warnock may be keen on some of these if Leeds get any money

Always liked Cook but that was a couple of years ago. Remeber being in the away end at QPR thinking I wish we had a player who could cross like that :lol:

There seems that there will be quite a few departures from Loftus Road this summer, Bothroyd and Campbell more than likely, Buzsaky has been offered a one year extension but the general consensus of supporters is that he is a decent championship player but out of his depth in the PL. Likely that Tommy Smith will go and also Rob Hulse. By all accounts Rob Green has passed his medical whilst in Poland meaning that Paddy Kenny will move to Leeds.

Are you concerned at the oldies Mark Hughes is signing? Zamora, Johnson upfront? :?
Is green better than Kenny? id say no

Totally disagree mate.

Johnson won't be a starter. Bobby Zamora & Djibril Cisse will be our front two next season, they proved to be a potent partnership resulting in Cisse scoring in every single match he started. Johnson with his energy & knack for winning penalties will be a big asset off the bench. Compare that Bothroyd or Helguson off the bench & it fills me with a lot more faith.

Ryan Nelsen again getting on yes but a very sturdy player with bags of experience & was Hughes' skipper at Blackburn will provide us with very much needed attributes at the back & a short 1 season deal is ideal for us.

Rob Green England keeper for the past 4 odd seasons so obviously one of the best English keepers around as every England manager has kept him in the set up. Kenny was superb for us in our title winning season but last season he was very much below average. He would dive early, dive late, not command his area & was at fault for quite a few goals that I'm certain a better keeper would of dealt with comfortably. Love Paddy but his time was most certainly up.

Fees;

Ryan Nelsen £0

Andy Johnson £0

Rob Green £0

To me that is superb business replacing 3 players with 3 of better quality for nothing.

1st of July Sparky will get in his big guns but for now more than happy with the rebuilding of our squad.

Btw DJ Campbell would be a top player for you. Works his socks off & scores with both feet. Been very unlucky with injury & as a big QPR fan from the local area it hurt him last season but if you could get him fit & playing he'll get you 20 in the ccc at a canter I'm certain of that.

Bothroyd- no comment!! :D
