I just don't think he will, don't think he is a very good manager.
He did well in Europe for them but the league form was very erratic.

IMO he is just a stopgap until Guardiola returns from his sabatical next year.

Chelsea hierarchy had no choice in reality.

Still can see him getting sacked after one season to make way for Pep or Jose.

Just a hunch.

Poor appointment. He'll get them top four but that's only because the players that Abramovich bought could finish top six without even having a manager.

What Chelsea need is either a very strong manager that can control the egos and convince Abramovich to give him ocontrol of transfers.

Or a very good motivator and tactician that doesn't mind having little input on player transfers. A good head of recruitment for picking out targets for positions that Abramovich hasn't got glamour signings in would help too.
