" SO IF WE SPEND BIG THIS SUMMER ? "

Do u expect us to spend next January ?

Should we spend next January ?

Are we failing to get promotions, because we dont spend in January ?

Annis, they have already said it's going to be a small prudent playing budget. The plastics on here are expecting the likes of f*cking Drogba and Raul rocking up down here but in reality we will be lucky to get Vassell and Heskey.

The club statement never said 'small', you're misquoting.

then we will be fined heaviy as we break the financial fairplay rules. We have a ''modest budget'' as said in the official release so dont go expecting big things, we are still a small fish - just one that has changed its history for the pleasure.

Not many people sell in January, they have their own campaigns. We arent getting promotion because we are not good enough and have too much crap going on off the pitch to be sucessful.

A misleading statement if there ever was one. £6 million would be a bigger budget then ever before wouldnt it?

That wasnt even enough for Rodriguez alone.

We are a club heavily in debt and apparently about to go on a spending spree, where is the money coming from? and should we be spending money at all. Plenty of free transfers out there without putting the club further in debt.

We all know the money is coming from VT but given the number of threads over the last year about the increasing level of debt at the club what are we most concerned about. Is this additional spending wise and should we be worried about the sustainability of this type of spending, should we consider protesting about the possible risk to our club involved with unwise spending.

Surely we would be better off searching out the best bosman transfer and taking our chances on promotion.

If you spent well enough during the summer we shouldnt need to add in January. Very poor value for money in Jan.

If we get the players we need, before january, then why buy, unless its because someone in the team gets a long term injury, or unless its because theres a weekness that needs plugging, i think its something that cant be answered until the time comes, But once funds are attributed for signings and its not all used then it should not be taken back or form part of the next transfer window budget, it should count as extra...my view anyway

Our fans dont want to hear reality mate.

They would rather send the club to its death with 1 season in the Prem than be a stable club forever. They are infected by Sam.

Also, isn't the financial fair play rules referring to incoming owner investment, or are player purchases a part of that investment.
