Forever Blue wrote:Allan Whitley our Chief Executive has today sent out a letter to all those City fans who have asked for their season ticket money back.
They will all be invited to attend a meeting held by Allan on Wednesday June 27th, Julian Jenkins and Wayne Nash, where they will answer their questions.
Emails have also been sent out by Mona the ticket office manager.
Then its up to the fans themselves what they intend to do after that.

ffs some people cant win, just shows how the keep blue at any cost brigade are as blind as pro red brigade
Sorry mate but I genuinely think its a joke just to talk to the 50 and leave the other thousands out who feel the same and are contemplating having a refund on there season tickets.
Its to little to late and it opens the flood gates all you have to do is cancel your season ticket and you get a full meeting with the club.
Its a joke because they couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery that is why I think its a joke and I think its a valid enough reason.

LMAO ... where do you get 'thousands' from? You're dreaming fella. The total number of 'agitators' looking to create a fuss is not even in the hundreds. Trawl through all the negative threads on this forum and it's the same fifty-odd names popping up bickering and complaining.
Not only that but the real motivation for the more astute amongst the 'agitators' is to create an impression of power and influence over a very small 'tribe' and they are stoking up the rebrand as the excuse to do that. The followers are biting as usual and don't see the bigger picture.
As a second little side plot to it, there is confusion in the ranks because sneeky Sam could be pulling the strings of the master puppeteers.
Now we have the Club trying to engage and they are being further criticised and mocked for that. Everyone bitches and complains and when they try to rectify / adjust / engage they get more of the same.
Absolute beauties you lot ... poor club can't do right for trying.

Weak ineffective but sadly predictable local leadership.
Did anyone say VT the red shirt will piss a lot of fans off, the change of badge will push them further but that badge is fcuking shocking......

If there were thousands of true committed dissenters then the rebrand would have got holted becasue the majority would be heard. There are not ... at best it would be a couple of hundred.

Nothing to do with temper tantrums or sulking, everything to do with red home shirts being my personal tipping point.
I'm sure that you also have a 'line in the sand' that can't be crossed whether that's the hypothetical return of Hammam as Life President,a red stadium,a change of club name or moving the club to another city.
We all have a 'line.' Now I respect your opinion but I'd like you to do likewise.
Thanks.

Bluebird1977 I understood exactly what he meant. My point is that there are not thousands of fans who feel the same. There are only a handful ... less than 100 on this forum and less than 60 on the other forum who are doing all the stoking. I appreciate that active posters like you would love to believe that there are thousands of dissenting voices but there is no proof of this ... as there is no proof of supporters of the red concept either. No-one can provide definitive poll results. For every negative post on this forum against the rebrand there is a positive post.
The reality is that the forums represent a 'vocal minority' whilst the 'silent majority' are pretty agnostic as to the rebrand. The newspapers have blown the response out of proportion and create a perception of mass revolt because it sells papers. they can't justify selling papers about an uncontroversial rebrand. The hype is further escalated by 'influential' fans that are using the opportunity presented by the rebrand strategy to 'enhance' their reputations and secure kudos by fueling the mayhem amongst a core of people that represent less than 1% of ST holders.
Interetsingly, not many of the 'knockers' are offering solutions. It's easy to criticise plans, strategies etc but some constructive critique would be good. Ultimately, the critics on this forum are having a go simply because they can and it satisfies their need ... whatever that need may be.
