" BLUE ARMY " Aims and Objectives

Sun Jun 10, 2012 2:57 pm

Blue army

Right as you might have seen over the last few days an idea has been coming together, this idea is the BLUE ARMY.

What is the blue army?

It’s a group of fans showing their passion and pride for their club, we are NON-VIOLENT.

Who is welcome?

We welcome every single Cardiff city fan who agrees with the concept and our aims as a group, there is no PRO blue and PRO red motive to the idea just a coming together of fans to make our voices heard.
What are our objectives?
Our main objective is simple, make as much noise and atmosphere as we can, we will model ourselves around the ULTRA and TIFO methods of support. Meaning the use of big banners and loud chanting.
Chanting already exists in the canton and block 117 of Ninian? Yes it does but each chant does not last longer than 2 minutes, our aim is to keep them coming all game long for the full 90 minutes.
Location within the stadium, this is still under discussion but most suggestion the corner between the Ninian and canton stands. If successful there is talk to move to the ‘proposed’ new stand above the Ninian, which would be a prime location.

Getting it out there!

Our next aim is to spread the word about the blue army, it’s already generated a lot of interest on this forum and is proving to be popular and a hit. As stated before Annis has giving this backing and full support and he likes the concept and idea, we will be looking to go beyond this forum and make a wider audience for the blue army.

Anyone got ideas?
Please if anyone has an idea big or small please contact either CardiffCityHD or me TheTrueBlue7.

Someone should contact Vince if this proves to be successful, so the drum can be moved to that corner. :ayatollah:

The corner between the Canton Stand and Ninian Stand which is usually empty is being filled with under sixteens and parents, it's what the club are doing to try and get more fans in, they got quite a few complaints of young kids without parents in the family stand so they've dealt with the problem and sold them season tickets in the Canton Stand for the price of a season ticket in the Family Stand, so unfortunately the corner may not be a good idea as stewards would scamper any plans. Personally I believe 105 is the place where the atmosphere comes from the most? So 105/106 would be a perfect place to set up the 'Blue Army' but season tickets may be limited and there doesn't seem to be a lot of people wanting a refund on their tickets.

I hope you all know the malaysians have will no longer have a drum for vince to bang they believe its badluck to use it so they have decided it will be a better atmosphere if vince smashes a 12ft wok instead not only that they said it brings luck and will sell more woks over in southwales. :ayatollah:

-
As you just stated - the canton 105/106 already exists and the non singing STs are still there
we dont fill capacity now, so l.eave the club dela with the kids and families in other areas be repositioning existing STs etc.
Arent we having more seats anyway?????

I think that corner is a good location - a distinct section that could be heard by both the canton and ninian stands.
I havent renewed yet so please keep this blue army seating idea posted up.
Cos i will belt out all game brothers.

I was going to move to Canton from the Ninian stand anyway front of 117.

Slogans:-

Blue Army
These Colours Don't Run

Blue Army
Saving Souls Since 2012

Blue Army
People Not Products

Songs:-

The chorus of Moneys too tight to mention
By 'Simply Red'

We're talking about Money Money
MONEY
We're talking about Money Money
MONEY

The Farm
Altogether Now
Altogether Now
Altogether now
In no man's Land
Together..........

Or an oldie - like
Those were the days my friend, we took the stretford end.....

I suppose you want to be noticed and don't want any negative or divisive chants etc
looking forward to this progressing.
We need a spark for the CCS - is this it????

Sun Jun 10, 2012 6:38 pm

there is no PRO blue and PRO red motive to the idea

Hence the completely impartial and objective 'BLUE ARMY' tag...
