Thought about the badge and kit

Just a thought,I know it's all good to have a tidy badge and a blue kit, but is all this really so important as people make out? don't you go to the footy for the day out and to watch the football being played on the pitch and enjoy that rather than watch what badge is on the jersey and what colour the kit is....
