Re: THE FIRST PLAYER SIGNING SINCE THE NEWS OF RE-BRANDING

Money does get you out of the league in some cases. People say it didnt work for Leicester? Did you see who they bought? Danny Drinkwater? Hardly a player to get you out of the division. Fernandes? Shocking midfielder. Nugent not bad striker. Beckford as his games to be fair. Mills for the money I dont think he is a stand out defender.
West Ham lost Parker? They got in Nolan. Nolan really knows this league and loves this league to be honest.
In January they were looking to make sure they do get back in the prem so they bought in Vaz Te, Maynard, etc. When you have players like Maynard sitting on the bench in a promotion chasing team then theres no doubt you will be having a stand out chance of going up. :ayatollah:

Malky says that its a 'sellers' market' in January, and that he does not want to spend silly money. Well WHU, Southampton, and Reading managed to strengthen their squads, spending a bit, but not stupidly. Look what happened to them. Meanwhile, back at CCFC, we missed out again, and worse still, this latest fiasco. God help us!

The nail has been smashed on the head.

Jan 11/12 + Loan Window - Parrish, Harris, Vuckic (loan)
Jan 10/11 + Loan Window - Parkin, Keinan, JWT (loan), Ramsey (Loan), Brown (loan), Bywater (loan), Samuel (loan)
Jan - 09/10 + Loan Window - No one, small hint here though: THE MALAYSIAN'S DIDN'T OWN THE CLUB!

Youve just rested his case for him.

2 kids who didnt get a game and a loanee who played mainly as a sub.

The year before a load of crap as DJ said "tried to get promotion on the cheap"

Face FACTS these guys know f**k all about running a fotball club.

The point was more that he said three years. If he can't remember how long they've been here it hardly helps his point of view. Forget DJ, he had enough money in wages. He picked duds like Naylor, Parkin, JET and Koumas. The Malaysians were hardly going to throw money around when they had players like Rae on god knows what wages. When they had only just taken over the club and coming to grips with debts etc.
