Have we been shafted by the Malayians??

Wed Jun 06, 2012 3:45 pm

So it now turns out there is no £100 million.

The investment countsthe £45 million they have already put in, counts the real estate they are buying with the training ground and the stadium, the existing debt and a PRUDENT playing budget and its still not £100m.....

We were told by other fans when this was announced - beware of false promises - and the worst thing...

BUT WE ARE STILL LOSING £15 MILLION A YEAR.

In the statement.

We werent told the current debt to them was being counted in this figure, it now turns out we have a prudent war chest and then its still not £100m and I quote... ''somewhere close to that figure''

We have sold the club for peanuts.

Expand....

The problem before the investment still remains after it - we are a club that accumulates £15 - £20 million of debt per season. - We still are.

So the Malaysians have bought some prime real estate for themselves (they will own it not us) and we get to train on it - and we have sold our traditions for the privilage?

in 5 years time we are in £75 million debt again.

Firstly the Malaysians never said anything about 100m

But even from what I've read from fans I've understood it to mean the 40m they have invested to count in the 100m..

Yes, we have been shafted. There was no need for any of this so-called 're-branding'. Some people seem to think that the £100m is on the boardroom table. It's a sham.

Yes you have been shafted. Anyone who has sold out on the empty promises that we will have the investment to get us into the prem is in dream land.
If you think that you are frustrated now just wait till the promised millions do not materialise and you are stuck in the championship next year.I wonder if you all will think that the sacrifice was worth it then.

So why the hell have our own fans agreed to this??!

Ludicrous.

For investment that seems to be going ahead. The 100m was nothing but a rumour.

Investment - seems a buzz word.

You are talking about the debt that will be back in 5 years yes?
