FAO Mods: Messageboard Management

Wed Jun 06, 2012 1:44 pm

Instead of there being like 80 threads about the rebranding, each containing only 2 or 3 posts, might it not make sense to merge a few of them?

This place is a mess with millions of threads on the same subject.

Just sayin'.

This is what was discussed yesterday - Surprised nobody has to be honest! I have just got home from work, and have tried to start tidying the place up now! Bloody Kids, leave them alone for 5 minutes, and look at the mess they make!

Merlin, can't you just make a 'pro changes thread' and an 'against changes thread' and sticky the both?

Some peoples points on either topic vary - with sub-topics then altering the discussion - so its best to just watch the posts, and direct, merge, or lock topics with a link to another previous made topic already being discussed. Then you have the problem of two threads becoming very long winded and people giving up on reading them, so it's best for us to just moderate as we see fit for now. :ayatollah:

If we merge the red v blue threads into one there'll be nothing left on the board
