My son is 14 and plays district rugby, but also does football training. He knows Jack and reckons he is a very special talent.

He's a cracking player hardworking and gives 100% fair play to him. Whose your boy play footie for?

My boy plays rugby for Caerphilly Dragons but goes football training with Wesley Rovers. At this age group there is a rugby player from Lewis Boys school who is probably the best prospect in Wales at this age group. He is already in the Dragons academy a year early and also trains with Wigan rugby league academy.

Jack goes to the same school. Parents at this age group tell me Jack is as good at football as the boy I talk about is at rugby. In my opinion the rugby player I talk about is nailed on to play regional rugby. So if Jack is on a par with him it would be great to see a local talent in a City shirt.

I think jak could become a proffesional player in a few years if he keeps progressing. :ayatollah:

Progression is the key for talented players at this age. Thanks Jinks.

Jinks rct, I have a question for you about the keeper in this team. A very good friend of mine who was a keeper himself and has two sons in the Newport County academy reckons the keeper in that Merthyr side is as good as any keeper at this age group. He says he is better than the keepers that play regularly for the Cardiff City academy at this age group. Would appreciate your comments with your knowledge of this age group.
