He may not have lost anything though, he may have sold when they were at their max, or instructed his broker to sell when the price began to fall. Who knows.

Lost is a bit of an odd word really.

From what I read he bought a company for 24m that failed so he sold some of the patents to Facebook for shares.
So unless his shares are now worth less than 24m (can't see that) then he is still in massive profit.

I'm sure he won't go without food anyway if that's your worry

Again I agree but the same could be said about him making money from facebook shares as other threads seem to make out
