This was developing into an interesting debate particularly the views of the "youngsters". BB who I "internet" know and Ohhgaa who I don't v us oldies who've been there, seen it, done, got the hat (baseball cap from the reds!!!).

Then the usual internet trolls get involved with the left wing driven nonsense, do these people get paid for such activity?

It is very sad that people cannot debate political issues without having the little gang of left wing freaks becoming involved and this in no way is a slight against the vast majority of folk of that persuasion who can generally engage in reasonable debate.

For what it's worth Cameron and Milliband are cut from the same cloth, you could swop one for the other and not notice any concernable difference.

Would be interesting to hear BB and Ohhgaa's thoughts on the current make up of the Danish government where "youth" has been given a chance, several major Ministerial positions are occupied by people under thirty years old. The prime minister Helle something or other is married to Neil Kinnock's son. Jobs' for the boys perhaps!!

Exactly, Cameron and Milliband are both Oxford graduates with minimal experience of the so-called 'real-world'. Hence, I would like to see an emerging political party that can rival the 'big-two'. (Liberal Democrat's raised tuition fees to £9000 per year which for a prospective student renders them a no-go. UKIP are hell-bent on one policy and their views on everything else besides EU membership are comical).

Interesting, I'll take a job in the Cabinet if there's one going. (Culture Secretary perhaps?)

Please, don't tell me what does/does not suit me.

I support Plaid as they, in the main, are more in touch with the Welsh than any London-based party regarding most issues. However I would be reluctant to vote for them in a general election, as I do not support Welsh independence (besides the usual delegated powers that is). What makes you think I do? Wanting the Welsh language to be enouraged and promoted does not automatically render me a nationalist. Please refrain from such stereotypes.

So why support any other party besides the big three? UKIP? Plaid? Green Party? BNP? Surely there is no point in these parties even existing as, according to you, they won't get anywhere near the government. A ridiculous thesis. A new, representative, party is most certainly needed in my opinion.

I wasnt telling you what to do it was more in jest dont worry. As for voting plaid if your saying they are more in touch you can still vote for the other parties in the local elections who are people that not based in london.

As for the other parties I understand voting for them to get seats in parliment but they will never become the majority hence never get in power same as a new party created. And you say representive they will just be representing your points not everyone

Hence why I voted Labour in the recent local elections, as that candidate ia the only one who actually lives in my area and is seen about. As well as having the best credentials in my opinion.

Exactly. Voting for them to get seats in parliament means more voices arguing your views. What's wrong with that? You do not need to be in power to have a voice. As long as it's represented in the Commons then there's a chance it will be heard. How so? I'm calling for a party that is representative of the majority as I don't feel any current parties are.
