Everyone would speak English as well you moron.

Then tell me Boris, what is the point of everyone learning a second language when everyone can speak English and communicate with one another anyway?

A lot of English folk move over to Wales, we would have to speak English to these people. All the Polish, Somali and Pakistani immigrants which are integral to the growth of this proud country, would only know English. The reason the language is dying is because many English people moved here and diluted it, this would continue to happen Boris :old: :old:

My name isn't Boris, please elaborate.

What is the point of being bi-lingual you say? So you can converse with others of similar origin, so you can appreciate your cultural heritage, so you can understand the language of our country and so you can create a greater national identity.

Yes, and Welsh would be spoken amongst the Welsh (obviously).

The deteriation took place when your generations got anglicised, gave up and sat back.

Oh f**k off, the younger generations were given a light load to carry on with and they ultimately buckled. This country went to the dogs the day we older generations passed the torch on. I despair to think what the children of this current lot will achieve.

No, us lefties are "raving" about how appalling the tories are doing. This has to be the worst government for years, theyve ruined the economy, screwed up pensions, reduced the police force, pissed of the general with the defense cuts, wasted millions of pounds and now the culture seceratry could be getting sacked!

Absolute shambles!

Oh I disagree BB, the last lot were without a doubt the worst and I've lived through a few, all of your points save perhaps the last one can firmly placed on their doorstep. Some culture sec getting sacked fair enough, I blame the Tories for that, they shouldn't have had one in the fist place!! C**ts...

Glad I don't live there anymore to be honest and I can sympathise with you being a young chap with seemingly not much future but it was very much like this pre-Thatcher where successive governments (both lots) had made a complete balls of things. It was so bad at one stage that even the IMF wouldn't lend the UK any money. Things can only get better :ayatollah:

and vote who as PM? Milliband? There's no viable alternative!

We need a new political party, one that's in touch with the majority and willing to represent our views.

Yes...really, quite frankly I wanted David Milliband as Labour leader. Besides, the Tories have managed to make the economy shrink by 0.3%....our economy was so strong before they came into power it shouldn't have shrunk.

No you want a political party that represents your views. And when you find that the majority don't represent your views you complain about the system being broken.

It's the same with the knuckle draggers that read the Sun. It seems like the vast majority of us want The Sun to die and go away. Yet it's the highest selling daily newspaper in Britain.

I personally feel that Milliband would make a good PM and that most of the hate that is spread about him, and about Brown before him, is because the Sun and the Daily Mail pretty much have a majority on daily news so other media has to report on what they say otherwise they;'ll be treated as out of touch by the general public thereby causing people that don't even read the gutter press to follow those views.

I'm no fan of Cameron, however I think most people tend to favour whoever isn't leading at present. Ed Milliband is not a leader, let alone a Prime Minister so I have little faith in either.

As for the economy, it was going downhill when they came into power; they've just accelerated the decline through harsh and typically conservative deficit reducing policies.

As far as I'm aware there was decent growth and more jobs under Labour. Labour's main problem was that their over spent.

What nonsense.

I refuse to be told what I do and do not want. Britain needs a political party that is more representative of the majority view, something which is lacking at present. Equally, I think the majority do share my views, and I have never once complained about a 'broken system.' I simply believe that the Conservatives and Labour are equally out of touch and consequently equally incompetent.

You cannot generalise all Sun readers as 'knuckle draggers.' It serves a purpose, all tabloid journalism does. To insult all Sun readers in such a way is a naive and unjust stereotype.

Ed Milliband would not make a good Prime Minister. As much as I prefer the Labour party, and as much as I WANT him to be an able politician, I just fail to see his qualities. In my opinion there are many more competent politicians out there, another reason why I would like a new political party to rival the big two.

Your post is just full of unfair generalisations about people who see Ed Milliband as an able politician but not a future PM. "Oh they've all got it from the red-top tabloids". Not at all, I've formed my view from his speeches and conferences, as well as his performances in the Commons.

Please, refrain from making sweeping, unjust, statements.

Again, I agree, I can't see him as Prime Minister. HOWEVER, it's not to say i HATE him, I think he should be in government but I don't think he's a leader. But I still remain arragont over saying, he would do a better job than this pleb.
