Barry town v Cardiff city

Sun May 20, 2012 3:51 pm

I'm looking forward to this one! I lived in Barry for 5 years and there are some good pubs!!

(yes Barrie from Barry  if I lived in Barry rd my letters would have been funny  )

I am certain this will be a sell out. How many Cardiff fans will be allowed?

I've just learnt it holds just over 6k could be a cracking night

No - you're ok...it still Jenner Park....go by bus, train or park your car in Gladstone Road.

Choice of pubs between Barry Dock station and the ground (10 minutes).

There wont be 6000 thats for sure, I dont think the capacity is that big, it got 6k years ago when Barry played Aberdeen with temp seating. Also its citys u21 team. I am planning on going mind, assume pay on the day! Hoping for a big crowd mind to help my local town! :ayatollah:

2,200 capacity I believe, as mentioned in another thread.

Would make sense if Cardiff were allocated the whole of one stand, but that's just speculation at this stage.

The ground is still called Jenner Park, as it has been for 99 years. Could do with a lick of paint, but still a good little ground.

Pay on the day I imagine will be happening, though there are discussions about selling tickets in advance.

Announcement due on the Barry site at http://www.clubwebsite.co.uk/barrytownsc in June apparently.

i'll be there if i can get a ticket, which could be a problem considering the capacity is just over 2k, they should get tickets on-sale now as they'd sellout pretty quick :ayatollah:
