We moved grounds and the move was handled badly by hierarchy at club. The stadium has the potential for noise but location of away fans next to family stand and the Hitler like stewards has scuppered the atmosphere.

TBF Gareth it isnt the Stewards. They are doing what they are told from above othersise they will be out of a job. And the stadium IMO the roof lets all the sound generated escape, For f**k sakes in the Ninian if it rains you have to be over half way up not to get wet.

It gave me goose bump seeing the grange "wave" when we scored but those days for that sort of crowd have been legislated away.
If we packed 8~9K in the Canton and threw away the seats we would create that sort of atmosphere again, but we can't....
I think some of you are grieving for the past and blaming the wrong people, just be glad you were there, I doubt it will ever be like that again at any club.

Spot on. The caving in from so many supporters has been a sad sight. When some nutter proposed moving CCFC to Dublin 15 odd years ago we sent him packing, same when Hammam proposed changing our shirt colour, yet a decade later we are falling overselves to go red. We have become a shadow of what we once were. Where is the pride?? The word spineless springs to mind. If City run out in red home shirts at CCS in August it will be a sad day and the start of more and more of our identity being eroded. Fight it while you still can.

Couldn't agree less. The football world is completely different from 15 years ago and I'm sad to say its all about the money. We can stand by our principles and show pride etc etc but this won't pay the bills or enable us to compete. Cardiff City will still remain and the fans will remain, the past is secured and memories lodged in minds. I fail to see how a shirt colour comes close to affecting any of this. Spineless? That's more akin to staying in your comfort zone. This change would be brave and the dawn of what could be the best era in our lifetimes

Respect your opinion but completely disagree. I am all for progress, new stadia, better facilities etc but I just don't want to see our clubs identity swallowed up to satisfy a far east market that may or may not be desperately seeking a red Cardiff City.
