Joey Barton Gets Charged By FA

QPR's Joey Barton has been charged by the FA for two acts of alleged violent conduct, following his behaviour at Manchester City on Sunday.

He was sent off for an incident involving Carlos Tevez but faces the two charges following clashes with both Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany.

As Barton had already been dismissed, both incidents fell outside of the jurisdiction of the referee.

Barton has until 18:00BST on Tuesday, 15 May to respond to the charges.

Worst thing I have seen in all the years I have been watching football and I expect him to have a huge ban for this.

As this is the 2nd time he has been sent off this season he will get an automatic 4 match ban. As each of the two additional charges are covered by violent conduct he will get a 5 game ban for one and a 6 game ban for the other.

Minimum 15 game ban in my opinion which will be nearly half the League season.
