Anyone else think he could do a decent job at the back next to Turner or Hudson? Maybe even at left back?
If we want to get to the promised land, we need to be looking at one or two players who could not only boss the Championship, but do decently in the PL.
He's just been released by Villa too, so wages are all that would have to be covered.
Afraid he may want a good £20,000 - £30,000 though.

I'd rather a younger Luke Chambers on a free with lower wages

Fair point. Chambers is a very good Championship defender. Would he really make it in the PL, though?

I wouldn't want another left back, Taylor is great at this level and our two centre backs are probably the best partnership in the league
