I'm 3rd generation City fan. My son is the 4th.
Our first reaction was 'no way'. it was a bit of a shock - I had been so busy a whole day of conjecture had occurred without me knowing.
But after its sunk in, I'm thinking 'why not', its the club I love, not a colour, also if it doesn't work out its neve rpermenant and we can go back to blue.
The more important thing for me was the owners listening -and they have. Now maybe time for us to step back and listen to their side of things.
At the end of the day I'm really not against change, I just want to keep my club for my son to enjoy. I'm far far to deep into it for it to be just about the shirt. I've got a blue one a red one a black one and yellow one and even a feckin white one. None by the way have been particularly lucky
Might be a bit late now but maybe its worth a try.
As for history, that doesnt go with a change of strip, and at the end of the day isn't the now and the future more importnant ?
You can never change history, but ou CAN change the future.
