A Proposal

Fri May 11, 2012 5:08 pm

A straightforward proposal:

(1) The club accepts the the package from VT and TG. We get the £100m in exchange for rebranding. Malaysians and progressive fans happy.

at the same time:

(2) A separate extra club is formed as a subsidiary of the main club, call it Cardiff Bluebirds, to play in a lower league in traditional blue and allowed to use the Cardiff City Stadium. Fundamentalists happy.

There. Fixed.

What about a 'reserve' team in League of Wales - with a Euro spot up for grabs each season?

Pretty sure David Moyes tried to do this with Everton but they were told it would have top be formed in tier eleven or something.

He wanted it to be the reserves.
