Liverpool change their badge

Two justice flames gone
Shankly Gates gone
You'll never walk alone gone

To be replaced with a gold liver bird. With just LFC underneath. Ok it is a badge they used over 20 odd years ago. But a badge change all the same.

The Hillsborough Justice campaign believe they should have been consulted.

I believe they have '96' written on the back of the collar, or somewhere near.......

They have the two flames with "96" in the middle of them.


I quite like the badge to be honest. And I absolutely despise Liverpool.

Yeah the 96 is on the back. I just thought it was funny that Liverpool were going back to the badge that became synonymous with their success. Whilst people were arguing the same about the dragon and Cardiff.

That was the badge some years ago. Still the Liver bird. Looks quite good, not as fussy as the current one. Imagine the fuss if their foreign owners got rid of the Liver bird! Or Man Utd got rid of the Red Devil. Or Tottenham of the cockrell, or the Arsenal the cannon. Get my drift?

Hope someone re-tells the story of Liverpools fans anger to VT and TG next week to show it aint just cardiff that have issues with change. Football fans need to be consulted on change - its their club too - there are many reasons for initial or down right opposition to change, a bit of transparency and most can reason with it.
