I'll tell you where we went wrong. We should have marched and sang to support the loyal fans of Riverside F C. Now there was a club we were proud of and we were behind them all the way.
We allowed no one to alter our first team strip of puce circles on a brown background and our mascot showing a pregnant bear asleep was loved by all.
None of your nancy stands and lawn mowed pitches. A good soaking
in the good Welsh air was enjoyed by all and the lingering smell of cow pats on the pitch inspired us to an enjoyable 2oth position in the old "Iron Manglers" second division!
To Hell with the namby pamby Cardiff Bluebirds. Bring back Riverside FC The Brown Bumblers!
