Our home shirt will be red with black trim, black shorts and red socks and the club badge will be totally different to what we have currently.

We will no longer have the nickname the Bluebirds.

Vincent Tan is close to agreeing a £100m investment in CCFC.

An announcement is to be expected in the next 2 weeks.

The stadium will be increased to 35,000 for the 2013/14 season.


The meeting was told that the change to red kit and Welsh dragon badge was non-negotiable and there was no viable alternative for the Board but to accept the proposals as the club could not survive financially without the investment.

These are the main points of the meeting and I will give a fuller description and the reasons behind these changes later.

Will there be a compromise? i dont mind playing in a red home kit but the badge needs a bluebird on it and nickname stays

This is an absolute disgrace! 100 years of history down the pan based on the superstition of a Malaysian owner! It sounds like something from Mike Bassett its so stupid! The club are leaving behind their key support and spending more time pandering to the Malaysian market! This is a shameful day for our football club and British football! Something needs to be done by the FA to prevent foreign owners ripping the soul out of our football clubs before its too late. Money is important but is no match for 100 years of tradition, culture and history! I think it's shameful that the rest of the board haven't stood up to Tan on this! I've been very supportive of the Malaysians up to now but If they push this through then Im going to feel completely betrayed! Owners come and go but the bluebirds have remained for 100 years! What a pile of shit!
