Yeah demonstraition a good idea, remember what happened the last time this forum organised a demo, the riddler left just a few months later tail between his legs , any ideas how we could get this going, fan power is an amazing thing as seen in the past, lets bring the old grange atmoshere back with the banter with the away fans because our clubs rep as some of the most passionate and loudest fans in the country is slowly dieing with every away team thats visits us and out sings us, something as got to be done for the start of next season

Polo couldn't agree more. Last night was a disgrace as there were so many blue seats to be seen everywhere!!!

Family stand needs to be moved and allow full blooded singing supporters to get right up and personal to the away fans. This will I'm sure shut them up and allow singing from both ends of the ground. Ninian Park has gone so we must make the most of what we have. Moving the Family stand will I'm sure going a long way to help the atmosphere get better.

The most affective demonstration as got to be financial, it's to late with our season tickets, but we could boycott their shirts, and program's and catering.....that should get their attention pretty rapidly.

im in the family stand, i would love to be moved with my son so the atmosphere can be massive again...so a straight swap is ok by me

I really don't understand how the club can have a standing singing section on the other side of the stadium to the away fans.
I bought my first ever season ticket today, in 117/116 because I love being close to the away fans, and there the fans stand and sing. Yesterday I was in 114 and it was bums on seats and nothing. Im only 21 but found it rather boring not being able to get animated towards the game there.
Anyway, If you want to have a singing section it needs to be next to the away fans. It would be easier to move the aways fans really, as its only a small section.

Someone try and get in contact with the club and ask to get a poll/petition going. Or maybe ask FSF Cymru. Vince Alm is part of that

now lets be realistic
the family stand as it is, is closed off from the rest of the stadium with the away stand one side and the grandstand the other side. It has been built with families in mind. The Canton stand and the Ninian stand has free access between the two and is a bigger area.
As far as the away end is concerned one side has the Ninian stand and the other the Family stand, we try and place away families on the family stand side and boistrous noisy supporters on the Ninian stand side (though it doesnt always work out that way).
So with families in mind it works and creates a safe environment for families of home and away supporters.
Whether its true or not the club will say that with this set up, arrests at the stadium and match days have gone down and we did win family club of the year with the current set up. Also with the set up police costs for games have gone down with more and more games not requiring police at all or segregation, this would all be lost with the stand changes.
Personally I dont mind and if you are serious about wanting the stands swapped good luck, but this isnt the first time this issue has been raised and people have made steps for change before and have gone quiet after time. Plus the argument will always be if you want an atmosphere produce it yourselves during parts of last nights game the Canton stand was quiet with only a handful of fans chanting with the vast majority just standing. So the argument will be thrown back at you that the loss of atmosphere is down to you at not the stadium set up.
Good Luck though as nothing would give me more pleasure than working at a stadium that was even half of what Ninian Park was capable of producing.
