READING LINKED WITH WHITTINGHAM MOVE

Mon Apr 23, 2012 5:59 pm

Promoted side Reading are interested in a move for Mr. Whittingham, according to reports. Malky will apparently consider offers over £3m.

It's a report from The Sun, so I wouldn't look to much into it, but I think Whitts leaving may be an inevitability should City fail to get promotion or not assure big signings in the summer. :(

In all fairness the guy deserves to be in the Premier League. Fingers crossed it'll be with City one day. :ayatollah:

I know how awful they are ( ) so I wouldn't look into anything they claim to have information on.

A Reading move for Whittingham is a lazy report. Of course he's going to be linked with a move to the PL - he always has, and will until he's there.

Good News :ayatollah: Let's hope he stays...Reading will be linked with players from now to the start of next season.
Interesting which are the latest 2 players...and who they play for ;)

I'd consider £3m+

Brilliant first half, poor second half of the season

Although I've never met the guy, he seems very well grounded and seems to love it here. I honestly don't think he wants to leave after being here for 5 years and currently has another 2 years on his contract. I feel that if we are not promoted by the end of next season he'll be off, but I just cant see him in another team's strip :ayatollah:

'If' we dont go up then I can see Whitts going as his age suggests that he doesn't have much longer for another crack at the premiership

I kind of agree, to me it seems his quality of life takes over the fame. Money always has to be considered tho.
